15 Ways on How to Control Your Anger

  1. Admit it to yourself that you’re angry.
  2. Close your eyes. Shut it off for a minute or two.
  3. Breath deeply.
  4. Make a fist while holding your breath.
  5. Bite your tongue and your lips.
  6. Understand what the statement mean, word for word.
  7. Avoid confrontation.
  8. Give yourself a time-out.
  9. Go for a run, a marathon to be exact.
  10. If you don’t like running, take a long walk.
  11. Got a punching bag? Burst it out there with your boxing gloves.
  12. Turn your anger into humor.
  13. Laugh loud about it.
  14. Count. Start from 1 to 10, if not up to 100.
  15. If you can’t control it, watch a movie by Adam Sandler entitled “Anger Management”
