In the ecstasy of marriage, especially Hollywood people- the intrigues and the gossips would never go away in the lives of actors and actresses. Paparazzi people and celebrity magazine are too blunt to understand that celebrities also need a time to make their marriage work. They know no justice to implement with the stars. And Ashton Kutcher and Demi Moore are not in the exceptions.

The recent news about Kutcher being involved with the other woman revealed that his undying love to his wife Demi increases to a thousand fold. Both of them were not afraid to show their true affection towards each other. The couple were recently spotted in a house party and very comfortable with each other. They didn’t care about what people say.

Moore and Kutcher wanted to make their marriage work.

On the way to subway Victoria Park, the rain continue to drizzle and soaked the road which made all the buses stuck in the street. Since yesterday, Sept 26, 2010- Toronto is experiencing crappy and depressing weather. The road seemed to applaud the sky to linger on with its grayish to darkest mood. There seem no sunrise nor sunset. Umbrellas and boots paraded the city. And, Tim Hortons coffee shops are full of people.

Well… Weather!

The prevalent issue regarding autism epidemic is seemingly a worth controversy that it brings an extensive or large audience to care about the children who’s suffering from autistic. The world of an autistic children are said to be increasing its number per year. While a mother of an autistic child marvels when would the health officials act out to care about the said disorder, claiming a thousands of children afflicted, these current controversy give them hope and faith that someday, somehow, people and health officials will give a prime importance like SARS and can get the same publicity and care in which every mother and autistic children of the world knows that they need it. In 2005, the controversy about the epidemic became widely known, there was a debate in the U.S. concerning between the parents of autistic spectrum disorder (ASD) children and the federal government whether the disorder should be given a wide attention or shall a society will care about its increasing rate. The flow of the debate made an encouraging twist and turn, which in favour to the afflicted children.

The said disorder seem appeared and identified at around 1930′s and since then it has been reported that its increasing in rate, to the extent that in the year of 2002, almost 120,000 autistic children were being held under the Individual with Disabilities Education Act (IDEA)- which claimed an increase of 500 percent in the last decade, in the United States. Autism was once specified as rare disorder but as the rate of autistic children rapidly increase, it becomes the most common neurological disorder affecting children. It is a severely debilitating developmental disability that affects many aspects of how a child sees the world and learns from his or her experiences. In 2001, autism was defined by the National Research Council (NRC) of the National Academy of Sciences as ” a disorder that is present from birth or very early in development that affects essential human behaviours such as interaction, the ability to communicate ideas and feelings, imagination, and the establishment of relationships with others”. Autism is the result of an abnormality and function of the brain that arise during pregnancy either due to something injures the brain or due to a genetic factor that interferes with typical brain growth. Leo Kanner, an American child psychiatrist was originally described the termed “early infantile autism”. He published a series of studies of eleven children who had a number of peculiar behaviours, but who all showed a marked lack of interest of the people around them. Kanner described it as “early infantile autism” because the disorder seemed to be present from the earliest part of infancy.

It is recorded that among the various neurological and developmental disorder categories, only autism appears to be on the upswing. Psychiatrist suggested that there’s a huge increase of rate in the diagnosed cases and it doesn’t mean that there’s an epidemic. What are they trying to convey that this disorder was once identified as a rare cases but as the years passed by it becomes common that widely affects the nature of the children. The number of children in each year diagnose with autism in countries reporting figures is larger now and then. An increased awareness of autistic disorders by parents and paediatricians may have also led to increased reporting of Autism due to case substitutions, which occurs when children with other disorders are identified as autistics.

The incidence of autism varies from country to country. There are profound and valid proof of the most well-funded charities and public health systems in the whole world about the significant increase of the developing or an inborn disorder. In Canada, autism is alarming; it is reported that the cases have risen by 150 percent in six years and the evidence has shown that out of 200 Canadian children, at least one has a mild form of autism. This latest statistics may affects four times more males than females, with an overall increase of 600% in diagnosis over the past 10 years. Canadian parents are much concern that this upswing rate may destroy the national economy. About 8 million young people in Canada in the age group of 0-19, applying a rate of 60/10,000 (or 0.6%), the estimation grows that there are currently 48,000 young people from that age group suffering from a Pervasive

Developmental Disorder (PDD). In the United States, they cited, there are tendencies of the developing disorder, of 4.5 cases per every 10,000 live births. In California, of about 15 to 20 cases per every 10,000 live births; Ohio in 2002 reported 22 cases, and increased by 13,895 percent to 3,057 decade later. In Illinois, the cases soar high from just five in 1992 to 3,802- it increases of 76,040 percent. There was a report in one suburban town of Granite Bay, about 30 miles east of Sacramento, 22 of the 2,930 children enrolled in grades K-6 are autistic. Indeed, the rampant growth is high, considering that in 1987 there were 2,778 persons with autism in California. By 2002 the number has increased to 20,377 and 3,575 new cases had been added to the rolls, far exceeding the total number of cases in the state 15 years earlier.

Epidemic or not, it should become a main concern. One cannot identify how hard to be raring an autistic children if she/he’s not an autistic parent her/himself. To understand or to gain a depth of knowledge about autism, one should be a parent oneself and the other may work closely with the children over a period of time. Autism is an especially hurtful form of childhood disability for parents, who may be deeply injured by a child’s unresponsiveness and inability to show affection. This disorder said to be no cure and in that aspect; it should be given a prime importance before it become too late.

What?  Practically speaking supermodel kind of thing needs  high definition, high maintenance or  which means your child needs to be super “thin”, tall, with charisma, confident and beautiful. Let’s face it, being a model needs to be down right attractive, stunning, perfect vital statistics and yes, size zero. What if your child is by nature short and fat? I don’t want to sound rude but to compete in modelling; a person needs to be tall and sexy. However, there are modelling agencies as well that hire a chubby model to pose for their product but it’s very competitive. You don’t want to let down your child, right? In some way if your child has an inborn aura of becoming a model, then it’s not a problem. All I want to emphasize that to become a model, let’s judge the person by looks. Modelling is competitive. How many aspiring men and women who wanted to become one? And, ended up frustrated because they didn’t get the title?

It’s good that your child have dreams; however as a mother- you know the best for your child. If you happen to see that your child has no potentials, don’t encourage her/him. In some way, if you see the potentials of your child in modelling career, then so be it. Modelling is being judge by the looks. Being beautiful and model is somewhat nice but admit it- reality exists. To be a model, a person needs to be looks like a model.
There are many inspiring career in our society today. If your child really want to be a model and she doesn’t have the potentials, then encourage her to become a fashion designer, build an agency for models and anything related to modelling. Advertising is one way to encourage your child. Marketing is another and being a Make-up artist is great. Many careers that will inspire your child, not only to become a model.

The reality TV Show “The Next Top Model” is very competitive. Many beautiful and sexy models to be. shed their tears because the judges are so real and honest. The judges told them, “Sorry, you’re not the Next Top Model” Meaning, there’s something in such a face. Judges will select the faces which can sell. They judge beauties and bodies, if they can sell a perfume, clothes and products. The faces of the models should sell. That’s how modelling works.

I don’t want to be sound so pessimistic here, but I’m just explaining the reality in the modelling world. If you see your child heart broken and disappointed, your heart as a mother will be affected too. So, it’s better for you to judge your child’s potential at first hand before the judges judge her with their sharp tongue.

Boiled peanuts were the ceremonious gift.

When would Tiger Woods get out of the woods? I guess anyone should be entitled with a little privacy even if they are famous or not. It depends on the celebrity if he wants to share what happened to him why he met an accident. I believed that every human being even celebrities deserve to get respects from the public. Tiger Wood’s near to death experience is his, not for the public. Sometimes, media and TV personnel should know when to draw the line and cross. It’s actually killing the celebrities private life and her families privacy too. When would the public know how to back off?

It is true that Tiger Woods is a celebrity but heck, he was working hard to achieved that name. He is not an actor that needed fans to watch his movie or something, or a music pop star who needed fans to buy his single album. He is a sport icon who earn his name and climb the ladder due to his skill in walloping that golf stuff to reach the hole. He earned it. The public should know that. He might be a sports star hero but he is not a saint or a missionary who have to share his life to the public. Give room of privacy a little bit of a boost, people. It might help you to save from distress and misery. Why on earth he needed to explain what happen to him in all sort of way? If he wanted to explained it to the public, so be it. But, gosh do not force a person to explain something which he don’t like. It seems like this person should act according to what the public wants. It’s his life. Let it be.

If however, his behavior did harm to the public, then, he should apologize or explain. Find a lawyer or something if he killed someone during the accident. If he deserved to be punish because he violated the law or drove when the red light was on-then, it is not acceptable. The law should condemned him.

Tiger Woods is also a human being. He has a life and exclusive family. Public should understand that famous people also needs a little privacy to maintain and provide a healthy family. People like him are human being too. They also are entitled to have human rights.

Photoshop and magazine gone beyond borders. When Filippa Hamilton was featured in Ralph Lauren magazine about her waist size that looks like a cartoon character in the making, the former Ralph Lauren model told the media that “there’s something wrong”. And, now…it’s Demi Moore’s hip disappear in the picture.

Demi was featured in W mag, December issue. If you could see her hip, it doesn’t align with the rest of her leg. It looks like no flesh and not in shape.  Yes, it is. The curve is gone, which is not so hot for a woman’s body.

Photoshopping is cool but if most of the magazine covers are showing fake photos and alter the woman’s body into super-skinny, it does n’t seem very cool. It makes the person looks sham.

The photographers who would photoshop should be aware that readers are not that-dumb not to critically criticize if there’s something wrong in the picture. Subscribers subscribed in order to look for a quality of the magazine and what’s stored in it. They should as well review the photo before it publish worldwide.

The world is watching.
